Pool A/Round One - Kabuto vs. Kisame

Kabuto stood with a hand on his hip, roughly 50ft. away from, and directly in front of his opponent, Hoshigaki Kisame. The two of them found themselves on the floor of the massive forest, known by all as the Forest of Death. Here, surrounded by abnormally large trees, the two would clash under the night sky. Kabuto brought his free hand up to his face to fix his glasses while thinking to himself, "Hmph... it seems my opponent is a member of the Akatsuki.. Hoshigaki Kisame, to be exact.. All I could gather on his clan was that they possess abnormal strength and chakra levels.. and considering he was from Kiri, it would be safe to assume he is a proficient suiton user. This could be problematic.." Bring his hand back down, Orochimaru's right hand man reached behind into his kunai pouch, and wrapped his fingers around the handle of a throwing knife. He would wait to see what the shark's first move was going to be.

Kisame found himself standing in the one and only forest of death within Konoha. He was standing infront of some stranger with round glasses and white hair tied in a small pony tail. As Kisame examened his opponent, a smirk was revealed as his shark liek teeth were revealed. " This guy looks like a tadpole. But looks can be decieving, i should not underestimate him untill i can see what he is capable of" he says to himself as he sees him pulling out a kunai. Kisame did a little chuckle as he grabbed the handle of his massive bandaged samehada which had a small skull at the edge of the hilt. Pulling it off with one hand and laying it against his shoulder, Kisame would look around in the forest and say to Kabuto " this place looks a little dull. How about i change things up a bit." Kisame the cocks his upper body back as his chest gets bigger and expands. Thrusting his upper body forword releasing a mass amount of water out from his mouth. Raising up with the water, the water would start rushing full speed towords Kabuto smashing around the trees heading right for him. Seeing as how the trees were so tall, it only reached about half way to them. While the water was still rushing towords Kabuto, Kisame would slide down the water putting his samehada to the side going to hit Kabuto with amazing speed.

Kabuto never actually drew the kunai, just wrapped his fingers around it while it was still in his pouch. Either way, there was now a massive tidal wave headed in his direction while crashing through the forest with thunderous roars. "Impressive.. I've never seen such a large amount of water brought forth so swiftly." he thought to himself as he jumped onto the side of a tree, and then jumped again when he saw Kisame was coming in for an attack. Kabuto performed a cartwheel in the air over Kisame's head as he flew, and once he was looking down at the Hoshigaki's back, he swung his arm out and released the kunai. It would cut through the air and stab right into the Akatsuki member's spine if it was successful. By then, Kabuto would have landed onto another tree, and strated running higher up, creating 'tok' sounds with each step as his sandals hit the bark.

Kisame watch as his opponent jumped onto a tree dodged his jutsu also evading his samehada's wrath. Watching as he was doing a kart whell over Kisame, Kisame followed him the whole time turning around as he spotted Kabuto swinging his arm releasing a projectile. Taking a side step on the water as it plunged into the ocean. Lookinh back as Kabuto running up a tree, Kisame grins jumping up onto the same tree as he says " where do you think your going?" as he places his samehada under his right armpit. Preforming a single hand seal, the water below would start forming closer together as it splashed out forming a water shark as it would go right over Kisame's head going to smash into Kabuto who was running away. Kisame would then grab his samehada out from under his armpit jumping onto another tree to follow Kabuto from a little distance because he might be planning somthing sneaky.

As Kabuto continued running higher up the side of the tree, he heard Kisame land onto it under him, and then say something. Looking over his shoulder, he would peer through his large spectacles to see that the Hoshigaki was forming a handseal. The water below swelled up and then burst up. A huge shark made entierly of water flew out from the gush and towards the medic nin. Keeping his hands hidden in front of him as he ran, there would be no way Kisame or his shark would see the handseal he made. The shark collided into Kabuto full force, smashing him against the tree, and creating a small explosion of bark and water. So there would be no way that Kisame could know some of that bark came from a branch Kabuto used to replace himself.
After Kisame landed onto a new tree, Kabuto would strike. Flying out from a hidden location on that same tree, he would come up right next to Kisame and shout, "There!" While shouting, he thrust one of his hands (covered in a blue aura) onto the Akatsuki member's bicept. If this gentle tap connected, Kisame would feel a slicing sensation pass through his entire arm as he lost the use of his bicept muscle. Spinning around, Kabuto would then try hitting him with a roundhouse to knock the shark off the tree.

Kisame watched as his shark smashed into Kabuto, but Kisame made a questioned face when he noticed that there had been a small puff of smoke where his water shark hit. Only meaning a few things, Kisame took that into consideration that Kabuto had used a replacement or something. Looking around and turning his head, at the corner of his eye he noticed Kabuto's grey hair aproching him as he heard Kabuto yell out. Turning his head completly to Kabuto he noticed his hand was glowing blue and knew it could not be good. Quickly turning his body around fully jumping back on the tree he would evade Kabuto's strange attack. While he was moving back in the air, Kisame would swing his samehada with his right hand and with such strength going to smash Kabuto right on his left arm and off of the tree into the air. If the samehada hit or not, Kisame would fall off of the tree landing ontop of the water creating a small splash as he says to himself " i better watch out for that attack, it does not look to good."

It seemed Kisame realized what was going on in time to evade Kabuto's attack. The Hoshigaki had jumped back, and swung his large, bandadged weapon at the grey haired, young man. Kabuto ducked under it just in time, causing some of the hair from his bangs to be cut off. As the thin, silvery hair floated in the air, Kabuto reached into his pouch and wrapped his fingers around two items. Jumping off the tree, he started falling down towards the water while Kisame was still falling through the air. Kabuto swung his arm out once they got close to the water, and a small flaming object flew out through the air and at the Hoshigaki. The moment Kisame landed, the exploding tag attatched to a smoke ball blew up, and a huge cloud of smoke engulfed him. The moment of the explosion, Kabuto splashed into the water, and purposely didn't use chakra so he could sink beneath the surface. since the explosion had gone off at the same time, Kisame would not have heard the splash.
Holding his breath, Kabuto would swin right under where he saw Kisame's feet making ripples on the waters surface. If he ran around to get out of the smoke or whatever, Kabuto would follow, using his chakra to let him swim faster. Once he got close enough, Kabuto would allow his chakra to burst, causing him to fly out of the water and at Kisame's back. This time both of his hands were glowing blue, and he slid the tips of his fingers across Kisame's hamstrings. If this connected, Kisame would find that his legs could no longer support him.

Kisame's samehada missed by a few inches as a few strands of hair were lifted into the air. Kabuto also fell off of the tree along with Kisame. Kisame saw that he had reached into his pouch once more as it put a grin on his face. When they were not to far from the water Kisame spotted a kunai with an exploding tag and a ball attacked to it and the exploding tag was already set on fire, which meant the chakra was already in the tag and he could not steel it. When the kunai was close enought and he was practicly on the water, he went to hit the kunai away and did, but within a second of hitting it it blew up right there. Being ingulfed by a large explotion of smoke from the tag and smoke bomb, it rapidly jumped out of the smoke as his akatsuki cloak had a few tears in it. Looking around but Kabuto, he was nowhere in sight. Kisame started keeping an eye out, also in the tree looking everywhere just incase he jumped from above. Feeling a few vibrations from within the water coming from an angle which was behind him, he rapidly looked down with his head to the side as he caught a glimps of Kabuto heading for the surface of the water. Hearing Kabuto emerge from the water, his first reaction was to jump forword trying to get as far away as possible as he did and threw his samehada up into the air in an angle. Landing on the water and turning around to get a view on Kabuto, he clapped his hands together. Sending his chakra threw the water, four water clones would form all around Kabuto surrounding him. Each one would put a hand onto Kabuto trapping him in a water bouble prism. Kisame putting his hand up as he caught his samehada out of the air, he would grin and slowly start aproching Kabuto.

Kisame seemed to have a special connection with the water, because he somehow felt the vibrations before Kabuto even penetrated the surface. He came to a sudden stop when he saw Kisame jump away, throw his samehada up into air and then clap his hands together. Kabuto noticed the water rising up all around him, and also noticed that these four mounds of water were quickly taking Kisame's shape. Once they had, they all came in to grab Kabuto or something. The medic-nin grabbed the wrist of the water clone to his right, then ducked and flipped it over, into the one on his left. By doing so, he knocked to of them down, and dodged the other two. Kabuto's body then dissolved into smoke as though he disintegrated, escaping the four clones before they could make another move. Reappearing in the air, he grabbed hold of Kisame's spinning samehada and came flying down towards the shark, going to hit him with his own weapon.

Kisame watched as Kabuto handled two of the four clones better then exspected. The clone that was about to get hit by the clone Kabuto threw brassed itself for impact so it would not explode. When Kabuto just vanished as a cloud of smoke, all five Kisame's started looking around for Kabuto. One of the clones finally spotted Kabuto in the air above the real Kisame grabbing hold of his samehada. "Above!" the clone screamed out as the real Kisame looked up seeing Kabuto and his childish attempt to attack Kisame with his own samehada. Kisame awaited for Kabuto to be near enought, and when it came a bunch of blades poped out from the handle of the samehada easily cutting Kabuto's hands up. This would most likely stop Kabuto's attempt as the samehada would be released from his grip.
Within seconds of the spikes coming out, Kisame hopped towords Kabuto punching him straight in the gut with all his strength. If it were to hit, Kabuto would be launched away most likely falling into the water. Kisame sticking his hand out as the samehada darted back to him without the spikes sticking out anymore. Taking a whif he would say " Mmm, the great smell of blood" as he would slowly sink into the water. The four water clones would each form the same hand seals each slapping one hand onto the surface of the water. Chakra streams would be released from each finger tip in the hand creating a total of 20 water sharks as they all headed towords Kabuto to chew him up with their razor sharp teeth.

Just as Kabuto was swinging in the massive weapon to hit Kisame with it, spikes burst out from the hilt and stabbed through Kabuto's hands. He let loose a shout of pain as he let go of the weapon, and drops of his blood splashed down into the water. The next second, he felt as though a train moving full speed drove right into his gut when Kisame's fist burried itself into his stomach. The medic nin flew back at an exagerated speed before hitting the water and creating an explosive splash.
Truth was that while he had been flying through the air, his hands had already been almost completely healed. He rose from the water, a green aura around each of his hands as he healed himself. In a matter of seconds, he had restored himself to perfect health. Not only because of his healing techniques, but also thanks to his natural regeneration ability. After fixing his glasses, he noticed that the real Kisame had gone, and all the clones were bending down and touching the water with their hands. Kabuto felt a sudden surge of chakra, and looked down into the water to see a swarm of those water sharks swimming towards him with frightning speed. The medic nin got up and started running forward. He would make his way through all the sharks by dodging, rolling, jumping, and cartwheeling all over the place. Flying through the air, he swiflty formed a set of hand seals. The next second, snow white feathers started falling down from nowhere. The four clones would soon find themselves becoming extremely drowsy and falling asleep fast. But by then it would already be too late. Kabuto was between all of them, hands glowing with a blue aura this time. Swinging arms around for only a second, he would then jump away as the clones burst into splashes of water. Landing onto the side of one of the massive trees, Kabuto watched the sharks as his white feathers continued to fall like snow.

Kisame watched from below under the water as Kabuto got back up onto his feet after his massive blow to the stomach. Kisame rapidly realized that he had a green aura around his hands." So it seems the boy can heal himself. I might have to kill him off quick." Holding his Samehada to the side Kisame saw that Kabuto dodged every single one of the 20 shakrs. " This kid has some skill" Kisame says right before seing the feathers falling down out of no where. When Kisame saw that his four water clones started to get drousy and falling asleep, he knew that he had to watch out for it, as he also tried figuring out what it was. Within seconds Kisame saw Kabuto kill the clones with his blue hands once more. Aproching the surface very slowly Kisame saw Kabuto jumping away.
With the 20 shakrs swimming around Kisame, he simply grins extending his left hand out pointing towards Kabuto but still in the water. All of a sudden a water whip would lash out towards Kabuto before reaching the tree wraping around one of his ankles. Kisame then swam deeper into the water pulling the water whip pulling Kabuto with it. While Kabuto would be pulled back down towards the water, before he even reached it five water sharks would jump out of the water all going to stab the razor sharp teeth into Kabuto.

While Kabuto was flying towards the tree, he felt himself some to a jerking stop as something wrapped around his ankle. Looking down, he saw some kind of water thread had taken hold of him, and was now pulling him down towards the water. As he was rapidly dragged down through the air, 5 of those water sharks burst out from the water and up at him. His hands started glowing blue again as he got ready for them. With the swing or arms, two sharks had their faces sliced open, but the other three managed to sink their water fangs within him. He grunted with pain, and then swung around him arms so more, destroying the sharks that were left on him before he hit the water. Once under water, the medic nin looked around to see that he was surrounded by a swarm of thos sharks. "This is troublesome..." Kabuto thought as he cut the whip around his ankle. Using his chakra, he would start swimming back up towards the water's surface while keeping an eye on the sharks around him. The bite wounds on his flesh just a moment ago were already gone.

Observing as Kabuto managed to get two of the sharks and the other three got a piece of Kabuto. As Blood spilled from Kabuto he got the other three sharks with his blue chakra hands once again. But now he was in the water, and was surrounded by 15 visious water sharks all circleing him. Kisame who was under what the whole time noticed that Kabuto's injuries from the sharks were already gone, some how as he started to quickly flee to the surface. Simply grinning Kisame swims towards Kabuto full speed holding his samehada to the side. Moving so fast it was almost as if he was a torpedo with all the bubbles and white water that made a trail behind him. Zooming by his sharks and reaching Kabuto before he could make it to the surface, Kisame would swim right by Kabuto smashing his samehada into his side easily braking a few ribs. This would probably halt Kabuto in his tracks from the pain of the massive samehada and the broken ribs. "This kid seems to have some type of fast regeneration, i have to act before he can heal his wounds" as Kisame moves back smiling at Kabuto. Clearing from Kabuto he did not want to get in the way of the 15 water sharks who were already charging in for Kabuto.
One water shark would move in from the top bitting Kabuto into its mouth. Making sure there was no escape from the sharks mouth, it would swim all the way to the bottom of the river with Kabuto. Smashing Kabuto into the ground creating a small explotion of dust, the explotion would become even greater as two more sharks smashed into Kabuto on the ground. Kisame watching from above just smiling because he knew if this were to work, Kabuto would be dead from his samehada, the sharks and from breathing in the water after he would try to gasp for air from the impact of the chakras. And possibly even the samehada smash.
