Itachi and Kakuzu pulled a combo on Hinode with their wind and fire jutsus and Hidan managed to get some of his blood and jumped back to his allies. Hidan began preforming his ritual or whatever it was, but then Hinode acted before and trapped everyone in blood tendrils. Kisame looked down at the tendrils that were binding him and Samehada. "Get me out of this" Kisame told Samehada as it began moving around in the tendrils. With the hundreds of spikes it had on it, it managed to cut the tendrils loose. Once the tendrils were loosened and weakened, with Kisame's superior strength and managed to rip the tendrils off of him before the spikes could stab him. Turning over to Itachi and the others, the first thing he tried doing was cutting Itachi lose with Samehada. Once Itachi was free Kisame would aim to free Hidan first and then Kakuzu. But he was always watching Hinode in case he decided to attack Kisame.

Yamato had moved up a bit and was watching everything that was going on, waiting for the best moment to strike. Forming a single hand seal, Yamato pointed both his hands towards the enemies. One arm shot out multiple wooden beams towards the two masks with the jinchuuriki and the other shot out a single wooden beam that was sharpened to cut the tendrils around the masks. After cutting the blood tendrils, the wooden beams would surround the masks, and Yamato made sure the wooden beams shut their mouths closed so they wouldn't be capable of shooting anything. Once he got the mask creatures, Yamato was hoping Shino's bugs would have made their way to the platform. But if not, then he had Temari and Hinata as back up. Once he got the masks he quickly retracted the wooden beams to pull them away from the fight and started making his way away from the Akatsuki, running down the mountain.

The wind enhanced flames devoured both Hidan and Hinode but before Hidan turned into immortal soup he made it out of the flame devastation with Hinode's blood. Now the four Akatsuki member stood together and waiting for Hidan to perform his ritual. "Your scythe did nothing to him. You should be thanking us." Kakuzu said in response to Hidan. Before the ritual was complete hardened blood tendrils burst out from the ground and wrapped around Kakuzu and his masks. Even though the tendrils were unexpected, Kakuzu simply stood sill as he looked at the tendril wrapped around his body. Growling at how annoying this battle was becoming, instantly after the masks lost the Jinchuriki, the two lightning ones would shoot a thin lightning bolt at Hidan while the wind mask started shooting a shower of wind balls at Hinode to distract him while Kisame freed Itachi. The lightning bolts would shatter the blood tendril around Hidan. "Hurry up and finish this!" Kakuzu roared to his teammate as he felt the blood tendril try piercing through his rock armor but was futile. Shifting his eyes to the edge of their sockets, Kakuzu watched one of his lightning and water masks turn into black slush and seep through the tendrils. Grunting once more in anger, once Kisame freed Kakuzu, if Hidan had not killed Hinode yet he would blow the entire mountain to hell and everyone on it, regardless if the Jinchuriki died or not.
Meanwhile Shino continued letting out waves of bugs and was about to attack the masks when Hinode's blood tendrils snatched them out from under their arms. Now that Hinode had them it changed his game play and he would have to wait for the Akatsuki to kill him before he could snatch them away.

Hidan chuckled as Kakuzu's lightning mask freed him from the tendrils. Hinode just continued to stand with his arms crossed, bringing up a wall of solidified blood to intercept the wind bullets. From over his wall, the blood-user could see multiple wooden beams extending all the way down to the platform, coming from another mountain. (Not those Konoha dogs again...) he thought himself as he lowered the blood wall to see that 2 of the akatsuki members were already free. Before Kisame could free Itachi, Hinode created the spikes. Kakuzu was completely unaffected, Itachi burst into a log, and 2 of the masks apparently died. "No..." Hinode muttered as he began turning around.

As expected, Itachi was standing right behind him, and now they were eye-to-eye. As the Uchiha plunged Hinode into a genjutsu realm, Kakuzu roared at Hidan to finish the battle. "Shut up, I'm going savor every moment of his slow, agonizing death! Why don't you make yourself useful and stop our objectives from getting away!" Hidan shouted back, referring to the 4 Jinchuuriki currently being pulled away. Pulling out a black rod, Hidan extended it into a full-length iron spike. "Heheh... let's start with your stomach!" he roared as he thrusted the razor-sharp tip through his gut, deep enough to make it protrude from his back.

The both of them roared with pain as blood sprayed out of Hidan's mouth and Hinode was freed from the illusion. As Hidan laughed, Hinode fell to a knee and thought, (How is this possible... my armor hasn't even been breached...) He focused on his stomach and closed the wound.

"He closed the wound! You have to keep hurting him!" a voice cried out, most likely confusing/surprising everyone. It was Hinata. The girl didn't know what was going on exactly, but the Akatsuki had finally managed to land a real blow, and none of them would be able to tell that Hinode could heal himself as long as that armor was up.

"I've had enough of this farce." Hinode said angrily, bringing his hands together into the kage bunshin handseal. Itachi would have stopped him, but he had been momentarily distracted by Hinata, and now it was too late. Everyone would instantly be engulfed in 1 titanic cloud of smoke. The veil swiftly cleared, revealing something that would make them all wish they couldn't see. Over 1000 crimson jello men littered the area. There was an eerie quiet moment, and then they started preparing. Some of them grew those 7 short swords while others grew long finger and toe blades. Without warning, the jello army burst into action. Hinata, Temari, Itachi, Kisame, Kakuzu, and Hidan would all be attacked right away while a swarm followed the jinchuuriki back to Yamato. It would only be a matter of time before 1 of them spotted Shino...

Kisame didn't actually need to get his partner out of the tendrils because he was quick enough to preform replacement jutsu. Kisame just laughed a bit when Hidan choose to ignore Kakuzu's "order" and decided to play around. Itachi was standing behind Hinode and already trapped him in a genjutsu and Hidan was doing his thing. Kisame spotted multiple wood pillars that came out of no where and grabbed the jinchuuriki. Kisame was about to go after them when he heard a girl yell out something catching him off guard.

"Closed his wound?" Kisame said as he turned to look at Hinata, then connected it to Hinode and turned to look at him. "I think she's talking to you" Kisame said, referring to Hidan as the one who had to keep damaging him. Kisame turned to Hinode when he made some sort of comment that said he was going to end this fight. Before he knew it he was swallowed by a massive cloud of smoke, and once gone it revealed the un-explainable. 1000's of Hinode's just standing everywhere on the platform and mountain, Itachi being in the middle of it. A grin on Kisame's face spread so large when he saw how many people he'd be fighting, but his teammates around him prevented him from fighting at his full capacity.

There was this long silent, probably because everyone was in a state of shock, but Kisame was actually excited in a way. And then it began, the mass army of blood soldiers charged at them. It was bad enough this guy was impossible to kill, not there was an army of him. Kisame quickly ran to Itachi's side smacking one away with Samehada. Fending them off his best, Kisame yelled to Itachi "we need to clear out, we're surrounded and Kakuzu is probably going to blast us all the hell." If Itachi decided to retreat to get better ground Kisame would follow. If not he'd have to stay and fight, and probably not come out alive.

Yamato managed to get the Jinchuuriki and contacted Shino, Temari, and Hinata to regroup with him because he was going to get Chiyo. Pulling the four Jinchuuriki right to him with his many wood pillars as he ran down the mountain, he felt the mountain shaking as if there were an earthquake. Looking behind him, he noticed an army of Hinode's chasing after him. "How does he have that much chakra?!" Yamato asked himself. Out from the mountain side a huge wooden cage burst out trapping a mass amount of the Hinode's, created by Yamato's wood clone in the mountain. Yamato jumped off the mountain landing on a rooftop, and as he did the blood clones would probably followed. Whether they did or didn't, they would be blasted away with a huge blast of wind created by Temari. Temari was sticking with Hinata, but they were ordered to regroup with Yamato so both of them would end up on the same roof as Yamato. "Temari and Hinata, keep them at bay while we retreat. Shino, use your bugs only if necessary. Preserve your chakra in case we need you for later on." Yamato then created wooden pillars out from his back to hold the Jinchuuriki, but he would not be able to move at top speed with all their weight. "Kankuro and Sakura, meat up at Chiyo's location once you're all done" Yamato said through the com. With that he jumped off the rooftop and Temari sent another wind blast to any stragglers.

The idiot had was, he let Hinode survive only to watch him suffer allowing the leader to use his last stand jutsu. From afar Shino watched as an explosion of smoke erupted so large it engulfed him hiding on another platform. Once the smoke was gone, Shino stood on the platform instead of lying prone and gazed around as there were now 1000 Hinode's surrounding them. The tendril wrapped around Kakuzu exploded into tiny fragments as the last lightning mask freed Kakuzu. Extending both his iron fists and smashing them into both the tendrils surrounding his last two masks, Kakuzu emotionlessly looked around at the 1000 Hinodes preparing themselves for battle. Extremely angry that Hidan had wasted his time and let Hinode perform Kage bunshIN, Kakuzu was going to take matters into his own hands. Dashing forward towards Hidan's back, Kakuzu would straiten his fingers and thrusted his right arm forward into Hidan's back. Shattering his rib cage and piercing right through his heart, Kakuzu's hand would burst out the front of Hidan's chest with a burst of blood. Now that the original Hinode was dead, hopefuly all his shadow clone would die along with him.
If not than Shino would go on the defensive and protect Yamoto, who successfully captured the Jinchuriki. Releasing a massive cloud of bugs from his sleeves, along with the bugs he released previously, Shino would swing his arm across his chest as the massive cloud of bugs engulfed and hit aside two Hinodes who were heading for Captain Yamoto. Releasing more and more bugs, Shino would keep all the Hinodes trying to attack Yamoto and Hinata and bay while he tried escaping with the Jinchuriki.

Hinode roared at the top of his lungs when Kakuzu spear-handed a hole right through Hidan's chest. His blood armor fell from him and splashed onto the platform as he fell to his 4s, revealing a wrinkly old man in a black tank top and underwear, with a fresh hole in his chest. "You son of a bitch, Kakuzu, you had no fucking right!" Hidan roared, turning around to look at Kakuzu as nearly every ounce of blood poured from his mouth and the hole Kakuzu's hand was sticking out of.

"I'm not done yet..." Hinode managed to mutter as he brought his right index and middle fingers up in front of his face and closed his eyes. Mustering up all of his strength and focus, he used his powers to close the wound and completely regenerate his heart. The next instant, the blood around him on the floor swiftly shot up and covered his body again like a symbiote. 1 of the shadow clones standing near Kakuzu and Hidan burst into smoke right before the attack began, sending all the new information it had gathered to the original Hinode. "So that's it... Somehow, if the one with the scythe gets damaged, I will be inflicted the same wound. What a troublesome technique, I wonder if I would be able to replicate it somehow..." Hinode said to himself as he rose to his feet. As the army of shadow clones began their assault, all the ones that were going for Hidan and Kakuzu switched tactics. Instead of trying to cut and stab them to death, they shot out hundreds of blood-tendrils to constrict their entire body. By the time they were done, the zombie brothers would look like 2 fat, crimson mummies stuck together (they left a small hole for Hidan to breath). "There, they can't harm me if they can't move. Should have attacked the most important organ of all..." Hinode said as he tapped his head with his finger, looking in Kakuzu's direction.

Yamato's wood prison came up, trapping a large number of the charging Hinodes. The remainder of them had either been pushed away by Temari's gusts, or Hinata's vacuum palms. As the group assembled and got ready to leave, they would hear Hinode's voice shout "Rasengan!", and then a loud burst as wood shattered. If they looked, they would see that a clone had broken down a few bars of the prison, and now they were all walking out. Once free, the clones started jumping onto each other, all of their blood-armors combining and mixing into something new. By the time they were done, they had formed into a 35ft.-tall jello man.

As the looming giant looked down at Yamato and his team, Hinata observed it with her Byakugan. "They're all centered in the abdomen, but that's also where the blood is the most dense." the hyuuga quickly informed her team. The next second, the blood titan started running down towards them. Once close enough, it jumped up with the intention of landing on Temari and Hinata. The white-eyed girl tried her best to move out of the way, but would still be blown back by the resulting shockwave.

Itachi had just been dodging, bobbing, and weaving away from his attackers until Kisame arrived and the 2 of them came to a stop back-to-back, surrounded by countless crimson figures. The Hoshigaki suggested retreating because they were sorely outnumbered, and Kakuzu might lose his temper and blast the entire mountain to bits. Itachi closed his eyes and replied, "Enclose the both of us in your water prison jutsu..."

Kisame smiled a bit when Itachi told him to use his water prison jutsu. Dropping Samehada for a second Kisame formed a single hand seal while saying "I hope you can hold your breath." Not even a second later Kisame started releasing a spray of water from his mouth, but before it made contact with the ground it quickly formed into a large and thick water bubble around himself, Itachi and Samehada. Picking up Samehada in the prison Kisame simply watched the clones, and if they tried attacking they would never reach him and Itachi. "I hope you have some kind of plan in mind" Kisame thought to himself because the couldn't stay in the prison forever.

Yamato turned from surprise when he heard Rasengan yelled out and a large explosion. What he saw was the wood prison broken and the blood clones all making their way out of it. But instead of attacking, they all started coming together as one, forming a blood giant. "That's not good" Yamato said as the thing started making its way towards them. Hinata gave out its weakness of the giant but it was also its strongest point. "Temari, focus all your fire power at its abdomen!" Temari acknowledge her commander, but when she got ready to strike the giant it was already in the air above her and Hinata. "Dammit" Temari yelled as she and Hinata jumped away but were both knocked by the shock wave. With the help of her fan Temari used it create more wind and soften her landing. Before Hinata could smash into anything hard something grabbed her out of the air. Whens he turned to look at what it was she'd see Crow and Kankuro was standing on a building not to far from the team.

Yamato's wood clone came out of the mountain and jumped right under the giant blood thing. The clone clapped it's hands together and then slapped them onto the ground. Two massive wood pillars burst out of the ground, one around each leg. The Pillars continued rising, wrapping on the giants legs, then around the body, and then the arms, leaving gaps in between each row. Out of no where Sakura flew in from behind it's head with her injured shin bandaged up and her left fist covered in chakra. With one punch she'd punch right through the jello giants head landing on a rooftop on the other side. "Temari!" Yamato yelled out letting her know it was her turn. Temari swung her fan releasing heavy air currents that collided together creating many vacuum pockets. The vacuum pockets rip right through the wood pillars covering the abdomen as they all started ripping at the abdomen, hoping to destroy the blood giant.

Kakuzu swiftly pulled his hand out of Hidan's torso with a burst of blood following his arm. Shifting his eyes over to Hinode as he now crouched almost naked on the floor with blood oozing out of him. In his dying breath Hinode still had enough time to regenerate himself and put himself back into the fight. "Damn it." Kakuzu grunted when he realized all the Hinode clones were converging on him and Hidan. Swiftly before the clones wrapped their tendrils around him, Kakuzu was able to put his hands together into a hand seal. As the tendrils wrapped around him, not able to do any actual harm do to his earth armor, his two remaining masks flew into the air out of range from the Hinode clones. They would have enough time to avoid any incoming attack from one of the clones if necessary. The lightning mask dropped its bottom jaw and shot two massive lightning bolts at Hidan. Blowing up up all the tendrils wrapped around him, this would give Hidan the opportunity to do some damage to Hinode. The lighting mask then shot two more massive lightning bolts at the extremities of the tendrils wrapped around Kakuzu. Braking the link from their creators, the tendrils loosened around Kakuzu allowing him to push them off of him. Jumping into the air, the wind mask would swoop past him picking him out of the air. Bringing him beside the lightning mask which were both looking down at the platform, Kakuzu put his hands into another seal. Looking strait a Hinode Kakuzu grunted "This ends now." The lightning mask shot an incredibly fast bolt right at Hidan if he had not finished Hinode off. The bolt smashed Hidan right in the face with such speed and force it broke the stitches around his neck detaching his head from the rest of his body. Switching seals, the wind mask would open its mouth revealing a tiny ball of wind. Keeping his eyes open incase one of the clones set loose another set of blood tendrils, the wind mask let loose the largest most devastating blast of gale force winds right at Hinode. Before his body had time to fall to the ground from "losing" his head the hurricane winds would blow him, his near by clones and half the platform to hell, missing Hidan by inches.

While this was going on, seconds after Shino saved Yamoto from a couple of shadow clones, four long finger nail blades pierced Shino through his back. Grunting in pain as the shadow clone lifted him into the air suddenly the Aburame burst into a cloud of bugs that engulfed Hinode's clone. Shino had replaced himself with a bug bunshin when Hinode created all his shadow clones, using the white smoke as cover. Traveling through the windows of near by buildings, the real Shino made his way towards the escaping Yamoto. Landing right next to him while his wood clone and their teammates dealt with massive blob of blood, Shino said as a cloud of bugs hovered out of his sleeves "Give the Jinchuriki to me. Ill be able to transport them efficiently with my bugs. Theyre only slowing you down and preventing you from depending yourself." Yamoto had to make a decision fast cause the remaining Shadow clones were making their way strait towards them.

Once trapped inside the bubble with Kisame, Itachi brought his hands together in front of him. A loud 'sheeeeeeeeeeeeen' noise cut through the air as he opened only his left eye, revealing the Mangekyou Sharingan. "Amaterasu...!" the Uchiha gurgled, and that moment, black flames burst into existence on 1 of the Hinode clones. He began roaring in pain as the unreal heat ate through the blood armor, and he stumbled back, bumping into 1 of the other clones and consequently setting that 1 ablaze as well. Opening his eye as wide as it could possibly go, Itachi clenched his teeth as dozens of veins covered the white of his eyeball. The black flames that were slowly spreading among the ranks suddenly exploded, now spreading like a wildfire from hell as blood poured out from Itachi's eye and into the water. "Ugh...!" he gurgled as he shut his eye and put pressure on it with his hand.

All that could be heard was the painful shouts of the clones as they were devoured by the pitch-black flames. 1 by 1 they would burst into puffs of smoke, leaving the flames behind to scorch the platform and mountain. "What in the nine hells...?" Hinode wondered when he noticed the black wildfire spreading among his clones and the mountain. He swiftly jumped away, making it to higher ground to avoid being touched by the flames. Some of the clones tried attacking Itachi and Kisame, but it would prove to be futile, and thanks to Kisame's barrier, the flames of amaterasu would never reach either one of them. "Damn Akatsuki, they're more resourceful than I had imagined..." Hinode muttered as he watched the clones that were left run away in fear of being touched by the flames.

Kisame could now disperse the bubble, and if he did, Itachi would fall to a knee and say, "Track the original... he should have a significant difference in chakra from the clones now. I'm going to retrieve the Jinchuuriki." The Uchiha was referring to the Hoshigaki's ability to fuse with Samehada, allowing him to sense chakras. By doing so, he could pin-point the original Hinode's exact location and take him down. Itachi forced himself up and then jumped off the platform, making sure to stay safely away from the jet-black flames.

Lightning struck Hidan again, shattering most of the hardened blood cocoon trapping him. As the masked thing shot another blast, this time at Kakuzu, 1 of the Hinode clones shouted, "Don't let them break free!" Before Hidan could fully loosen himself, more tendrils shot in and wrapped him up again.

"Fuck off!" he roared angrily as they once again bound him completely. As for Kakuzu, breaking off the connections wouldn't do much because they could all control their blood the same way Gaara could control sand. As they maintained concentration on Kakuzu's prison, a few dozen others decided to go for the flying monsters.

They all raised their hands up and said together, "Blood Binding Prison!" The next thing the masks knew, they were covered in shadow as something big enough to hide the sun formed behind them. A colossal sphere of blood that looked like it was made up of large claws started closing in around the 2 masked monsters.

The blood titan tried to break free from the wood binding its legs, but just managed to crack the pillars a little. Hinata wanted to thank the person who rescued her, but stopped herself when she realized it was just a puppet. The next second, Sakura came flying in and completely obliterated the giant's head. With their reinforcements right on time, Temari finished up the combo by releasing a powerful attack at the immobilized giant's abdomen. The wind looked like it wasn't doing much, and by the time it was done, it had only managed to deal a few superficial scratches. The shattered pieces of the thing's head suddenly rose from the ground shifting and dividing until they had transformed into dozens of small balls. The blood bullets then began flying around the giant at blinding speeds, tearing the wooden pillars to shreds. It inevitably broke free and swiftly reached down to grab the mokuton clone between its feet. If the crimson giant managed to catch Yamato's copy, it would make blood spikes extend from its palm, destroying the clone. As it did so, the blood bullets all flew into the titan's abs, further fortifying its weak-point.

"Not bad" Kisame thought to himself when he noticed the black flames spreading across all the clones. Kisame also noticed Itachi fell to one knee, either from the pain or a lack of chakra, but who knew. And knowing Itachi, he wasn't going to say anything. The water prison protected them from the flames and the clones, and in a few moments when everything was clear Kisame destroyed the water bubble as water burst all around them. Itachi told Kisame what to do now that most of the clone were out of the way and that he was going for the jinchuuriki. "In the state you're in, you sure you can handle it?" Kisame asked, knowing it wasn't going to change anything. "Here we go" Kisame said with a grin as Samehada began fusing with him and for the third time he was back into his shark form.

In seconds he managed to figure out which one was the real Hinode. "Can't hide from me" Kisame said as he looked up at Hinode standing high on top of the mountain. Making sure to avoid the black flames, Kisame took a large leap up towards Hinode, and his intention was to land right on him. If he managed to reach Hinode, he'd use his superior strength to smash Hinode down where ever he was. Spikes grew from the fins on Kisame's forearms at an attempt to pierce Hinode's armor and drain his chakra. But whether it pierced though or not, the simple fact Kisame was touching him meant he was draining his chakra. "Samehada's hungry, and you have more then enough to fill her" Kisame said with a large grin because he had an a lot of chakra at his disposal.

The allied forces attempt at trying to take out the blood giant failed. It was going to take a lot more fire power to take that thing down. Yamato handed the jinchuuriki to Shino so he'd carry them with his bugs. When the giant reached for Yamato's clone, the clone used the same jutsu a before and seeped into the ground before it could be grabbed. The real Yamato formed a single hand seal at the time as his wood clone came out of the ground behind the giant also forming a hand seal. The real Yamato said "Wood Release: Great Forest Technique" while the wood clone said "Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique." The clones pointed its right arm towards the giant using the same jutsu Yamato used on the squid. A single stream of wood shot out, and began branching out and branching out into multiple wood beams binding the giant. The real Yamato's entire right arm a shoulder had completely turned into a large chunk of wood. With a roar he released the massive blast of wood as it separated into thick, sharpened wood beams. Every single one smashed into the abdomen trying to brake though. Meanwhile, Sakura climbed the giant's leg all the way to the abdomen, making sure to be out of range from Yamato's attack. "This seems to be where they're concentrating their power, there must be a reason" Sakura said as she began unleashing a furry of punched into it, hoping the giant did not brake the clones bind.

To his surprise the tendrils wrapped around him did not loosen when the lightning bolts struck their extremities, figuring out that it was their complete control over their blood. The masked creatures saw the shadow forming over them and swiftly both dashed to opposite sides in an attempt to escape the growing shadow the was forming around them. The wind masks barely, but successively made it out but the lightning mask got caught and trapped within the bubble of blood. Regardless that Kakuzu didnt know what was going on outside the tendrils wrapped around him, he would perform the same attack. Both lightning and wind masks would drop their jaws releasing two massive, fast moving lightning bolts and a the widest most grandest blast of wind Kakuzu could muster. Maybe the lightning mask would brake through the blood bubble and fry some Hinode clones or hit Kakuzu and Hidan, but the wind masks attack would crash into the platform and anything in its path. Any clone infront, on and behind the platform would be ripped to shreds and once the gargantuan blast hit the mountain the entire thing exploded. The whole top half of the platform and several buildings/mountains behind the platform would be sent to hell as pieces and shreds of blocks of cement and mountain were blown to smithereens. Any Hinode clone in the way would face the same fate. A good chunk of the village would be missing after his pressured wind jutsu was done with. Kakuzu and Hidan wouldnt be as damaged by the wind blast since the blood tendrils fended off most of the attack but they too were destroyed leaving them to feel the furry of the wind. Down bellow on the ground where what was left of the platform/mountain lay, Kakuzu would push a giant bolder off of him. Armor still active, Kakuzu slowly pulled himself to his feet trying to see through the massive smoke cloud that clustered the air. Not caring at all what happened to Hidan or where he was, Kakuzu's wind mask swooped down past him picking him up and out of the smoke cloud to see the destruction he had caused and where the remaining clones were.

Shino placed all the jinchuriki in their separate bug cloud, surrounding each and every one of them like an insect inside a cocoon. Once they were out of Yamoto's hands he would be able to both run faster and fight with ease without having to worry about them. Now that the four bug clouds hovered beside and behind Shino, he continued dashing through the village making his way to their escape route.

Itachi didn't answer Kisame, and just jumped away. "What now..." Hinode muttered as he watched Kisame transforming amongst the field of black flames. Next thing he knew, the shark monster was flying across the air, coming right at him. (That doesn't look like a lucky guess...) the jello man thought, clearly being able to see that Kisame was coming specifically for him. It appeared that the flying akatsuki-nin was attempting to come crashing down into Hinode, but the jello man seemed unimpressed and just crossed his arms. The second before Kisame would have landed on him, Hinode brought up a blood-shield and the Hoshigaki landed onto that instead. The blood-user's next move would have been to wrap Kisame up in a cocoon of blood, but his plans were foiled. The pale blue man-shark absorbed the chakra out of Hinode's blood, causing it to splash down onto the mountain rock. "How?" Hinode questioned as Kisame would land down in front of him and extend spikes from his forearm. "Fine, I'll deliver to you the quick death you so desperately seek, you monstrosity!" Hinode said, creating a blood-short-sword in each hand. When Kisame moved in, so would Hinode, aiming to cut both of the Hoshigaki's arms off.

When the Hinode clones noticed the wind mask make it out, one of them said, "I won't let you escape!" and then swung his arm while roaring, "Blood coffin!" As Kakuzu's monster opened its mouth to let loose a blast, a stream of blood flew in (coming from the massive prison) and engulfed the masked head. "Blood funeral." the shadow clone simply said as he clenched his fist. The wind mask's head would be instantly crushed as massive lightning bolts burst out of the giant blood prison. "Deflect!" some of the Hinodes roared, and they raised their arms up. A large, hollow blood pyramid formed over them like a giant umbrella, deflecting all the lightning off to the sides. They sent the large construct flying up at the prison in an attempt to seal-off the part that had just been blasted away. If not, they could at least try to impale the masked monster that would most likely be trying to escape.

Around this same time, they would notice that Itachi was standing in the middle of all of them. They all looked at the Uchiha, at which point he began raising his arms to the sky as if he was praying. A little confused, 1 of them would suddenly burst forward, running full speed as he formed a rasengan in his palm. Once within range, he slammed the chakra sphere into Itachi, who did nothing to stop it. The Uchiha's body dissolved into crows that flocked away and swarmed the area. The shadow clone had actually slammed the rasengan right into Kakuzu, destroying most of the bindings on him. Because they were still under the effect of the illusion, they would think that Kakuzu was still bound, while the real Kakuzu and the Itachi shadow clone would appear as one of them. "This must be an illusion - quickly, dispell it!" one of them realized.

Meanwhile, the allied forces continued their assault on the giant. It would soon find itself bound by the troublesome branches again, unable to do anything about the heavy rams sent flying into its abdomen. A few tiny cracks appeared when Yamato's beams struck, but nothing much. Soon after, Sakura began her own attack, every punch causing the cracks to open up wider and deeper. "What is that... it's moving so fast..." Hinata muttered to herself as she picked something up with her Byakugan, heading their way. Around the same time, the Hyuuga noticed a normal sized jello-man secretly emerging out of the bigger one, coming up right behind Sakura. The pink-haired girl was too busy to notice, and no one would be able to react in time even if Hinata said something as the jello-man extended 5 finger blades and went to decapitate Sakura.

His swing hit nothing but air as Sakura seemingly vanished. There was a loud crash a few meters away from the giant as rock and dust flew up into the air. "Ah..! Lee-kun, but how?" Hinata said loud enough for the others to hear. The cloud cleared, revealing Rock Lee standing in a crater, holding Sakura in his arm, and looking off in the distance with a fool's smile on his face. Apart from his clothing, he appeared to be 100%.

"You should be more careful, Sakura-chan." Lee said as he put Sakura down and turned to look at the giant that was already repairing the damage and breaking free from the wood. "Allow me to lend an assisting hand, if I may!" he shouted, "GAI SENSEI!" Rock Lee cried as he opened the first 5 gates, almost blowing Sakura away, "I will not let you down!" With that, Rock Lee vanished, almost blowing Sakura away again. No one would be able to see it, but they would all hear, "AAAARHHHHKONOHASENPUUU!!!" and the next second, the entire giant (and the wood holding it) shattered, white smoke bursting out the front and back of its abdomen, and then all the hardened blood bursting into smoke too. Rock Lee walked out of the clearing smoke, back to his normal state. He gave them all a thumbs-up as a twinkle flashed in the corner of his eye.

They weren't out of the clear yet, Shino had already been cut-off by a few shadow clones, and now the rest of them were being surrounded as well.

00C: Chiyo used "One's Own Life Reincarnation" jutsu on Rock Lee when she sensed she was going to die anyway. That way he could return to the fight to help, 100.1% rejuvenated and healed.

Kisame smiled when he saw that Hinode was confused about what just happened to him. "No harm in explaining it to you, you're going to die very soon" Kisame replied. "Anything that touches me or I touch, I can absorb the chakra. There's no winning this one" Kisame said finishing it off with a laugh. Hinode made weapons of his own to combat Kisame. They both moved in at the same time to strike. Kisame noticing Hinode was going for his arms, so he moved his forearms in front of him using the spikes that came out of his fins to blocked the two blades. Now Kisame couldn't move his arms to strike because Hinode would chop his arms off it it happened. Out of no where Kisame's tail came out from behind him and sweeping Hinode's feet which would start making him fall towards Kisame since they were fighting on a mountain side. Kisame used that advantage to grab one of Hinode's legs. With a roar, Kisame swung him over his head smashing Hinode face first on the other side of him. With enough force to crack the mountain side under Hinode and hopefully damage his armor, Kisame jumped onto Hinode's back and put his hands onto Hinode's shoulder blades to pin him down with all his strength. Meanwhile, he was also absorbing the chakra out of Hinode's blood armor in hopes of getting rid of the whole thing so he could move on to absorbing Hinode's chakra. "Just sit tight like a good boy" Kisame said with a grin as the masses of chakra entered his body.

Sakura was rapidly pulled off of the giant from something moving so fast that she didn't even realize she was off of it until she was on the ground. "Lee?" Sakura said as the smoke cleared revealing the healthy Lee. Lee said she should be more careful, but she had no idea why because she didn't know she was about to die before he came in. "How did Chiyo heal him in her current condition?" Yamato asked himself because it would have been difficult even for her. Lee wasted no time as he entered the gates almost blowing Sakura away from him. It was like he wanted to catch up for all the action he missed and got right into it. Within a second The giant was destroyed and Lee walked out of it with a Gai thumbs up. "It's good to have you back" Yamato said as all the wood retracted forming back into his arm and the wood clone detached the wood from his palm. "Whats the situation with Chiyo?" Yamato asked Rock Lee.

Whether he answered or not, they weren't out of the mess just yet, the remaining clones had met up with Shino and the Jinchuuriki and surrounded the entire allied forces. But this time Yamato had confidence because the entire allied force team was here except for Chiyo. "Lets get rid of these guys quick and retreat right away" Yamato yelled out as he got ready to protect Shino because he had the jinchuriki. Forming a single hand seal Yamato would create wood from under the clones surrounding him and Shino and an attempt to trap them all. If it worked, he would finish it off with another hand seal that created wood spikes throughout the wood beams that trapped the clones. Temari started blasting them with wind blasts as Sakura came to her aid because she knew Temari would need help if any of them got in close range to her. Kankuro was going to fight with Hinata as crow popped its mouth open releasing a spray of needles. Making blades come out of Crow's four arms, he'd swing him in to strike down a couple of the clones.

All of a sudden the tendrils wrapped around Kakuzu exploded into bits and pieces as one of the shadow clones smashed them with a resengan. Breaking free from what little tendrils were still around him, Kakuzu slammed his right fist into the clone who just freed him. As it exploded into a puff of smoke, Kakuzu would step over the remains of the blood tendrils as he let his earth armor retreat from his skin. Realizing that Itachi had activated a genjutsu on them as none of them payed attention to him, the stitches on his back untied themselves as Kakuzu exploded into the monster he is. Hundreds of thousands of black stitches shot out of Kakuzu's back as his arms extended as well, no longer looking some what like a normal human. Shooting a wave of stitches out in every direction, the black mass would puncture and pierce through every clone on and in the surrounding area of the platform, including the ones creating the blood bubble (hopefully before they killed the lightning mask). If the lightning mask was still alive it would fly down to Kakuzu and merge with him, popping its head right over his. Turning to face Itachi now that the platform was cleared of clones they would have time for a few words before the next batch of clones came and died "Go after the Jinchuriki." Itachi probably knew that that was what he had to do next, and now Hidan was free since Kakuzu killed all the Hinode's around. "We'll deal with the remaining scum." Appreciating his help but not mentioning it, Kakuzu turned to see if Hidan was ready to continue fighting the approaching Hinodes.

There wasnt much time for Rock Lee to answer because the shadow clones were closing in on their position, and a huge lot of them were heading right towards Shino and the Jinchuriki. "Brought me back from death, died in process." That was all Shino could utter as he swiftly opened the first gate, and in the blink of an eye vanished leaving a puff of smoke in his place. Four Hinode's were about to pounce onto Shino and consecutively they exploded into puffs of smoke. Without his weights and with the 1st celestial gate released, no one could follow his movements without a special Dojutsu. The naked eye alone would not be capable of following Konoha's youthfull green beast. Hinode clones around the allied forces continued exploding into puffs of smoke as Shino ran without hesitation and complete confidence that Lee would protect him, and if he somehow wasnt, Yamoto would.

"Don't get cocky," Hinode replied after Kisame explained what was happening, "I had already figured that out myself..." The next second, both of them came flying in at each other. Hinode's blood swords clashed with Kisame's fin spikes. "What!?" the jello man roared as he was caught off-guard by the sweeping tail of the Hoshigaki. Before he could gather himself, Kisame had taken hold of his ankle, swung him overhead, and down into the mountain behind him. A large crater burst into existence as Hinode hit the rock with a painful grunt, and he was badly dazed by the impact. His armor, however, was seamless as always. There was nothing the blood-user could do as Kisame pinned him down and began draining his chakra. Hinode slowly regained his consciousness, and by the time he did, there were holes all over his armor, revealing the wrinkly skin beneath. "Damn you...!" Hinode muttered as he secretly poured blood into the cracks around them. Out of nowhere, the both of them would feel the ground they were standing on being pushed up and away from the mountain. Hinode had created a giant blood arm under the earth to detach the boulder they were on from the mountain. Using the sudden destabilization, Hinode managed to slip free from Kisame and jump away as the 2 fell through the air with the giant slab of rock. If Kisame looked down, he would notice that they were falling right towards the field of black flames, which was Hinode's plan all along.

As Hinode's blood armor refilled itself, he created a blood nimbus underneath his own feet and floated in the air as Kisame and the boulder would continue to plummet. Crossing his arms, Hinode would watch from the sky with a hidden smile as the Hoshigaki fell to a burning demise.

Meanwhile, all the Hinode clones turned to look as one of their copies punched another one away, and it burst into a puff of smoke. At that moment they all clapped their hands together and said, "Kai!" With the illusion gone, the clones could now see the real Itachi and Kakuzu. The zombie was currently in the process of sending his tendrils out everywhere in a futile attempt to kill all the clones around him. They may just be shadow clones, but their blood armor is just as hard as the original's, which is on the same level as diamond. All the clones entangled in Kakuzu's tendrils would begin sending out their own blood tendrils into his tendrils to create a mess of black and red tendrils entwining them all in a field of tendrils. The other clones kept their focus on the mini blood moon (prison of the lightning mask) hanging in the sky.

"Kakuzu if you don't get me out of here I'll kill you myself when I do!" Hidan roared through the small mouth-hole.

The Itachi bunshin turned to look as 3 Hinodes came running in at him. Without a second thought, he burst into a puff of smoke, returning all remaining chakra to the original Uchiha. "Hm, coward..." one of them muttered as the 3 came to a walking halt, not really sure what to do with themselves now.

Some Hinode clones were trapped by Yamato's wood while others jumped away. Some were blown away by the wind, but that wouldn't be enough to destroy them, and between swings the other ones would get closer to Temari. To prevent themselves from being destroyed by Lee, the clones began spouting blood spikes all over their body so that if Lee hit them, he would stab himself every time. Kankuro's attacks uselessly bounced off the clones' armor as they approached the puppet-user and not the puppet. In the midst of all the chaos, Hinata noticed Itachi sneakily approaching. She went to shout out a warning, but a crow flew by her face. Shocked, she took a step back only to realize there was no ground there and she fell into a pool of water. Holding her breath, Hinata swam to the surface only to realize she couldn't break through, as if she was trapped underneath indestructible glass.

In reality, she was still standing in the same spot, and looked like a mime holding her breath and hitting an invisible wall over her head. Itachi had been releasing a constant illusion with his sharingan, knowing Hinata's Byakugan would have to see his eyes once he was close enough.

Kisame thought it was going to be over soon when he could see the wrinly skin of Hinode but was caught off guard when the mountain under him started shaking, causing him to lose both his balance and his grip on Hinode. Before he knew it the part he was standing on was removed from the mountain by a huge blood arm. Hinode managed to get off of the boulder and on some kind of blood cloud. "Damn" Kisame said to himself because Hinode was out of his range, but that was the least of his worries because the boulder he was standing on was headed right for the left overs of Amaterasu. There wasn't much Kisame could do, even if he created water it would not get rid of the flames and he would most likely come into contact with them. Moments before coliding with the flames Kisame formed a single handseal. Then he smashed into the flames as the boulder sandwitched him into them. With the mix of the flames and pieces of the boulder Hinode would not be able to see the outcome of Kisame. In fact he was not there because he used replacement jutsu.

"That was a close one" Kisame said now standing higher up on the mountain being at the same height as Hinode with his blood cloud. Grinning as always, Kisame was looking right at Hinode who was still pretty far from him. If he tried jumping at him he may be able to reach him, but would leave himself open. "I didn't know the person behind all of this chaos was a coward. Floating on his blood cloud, hiding behind that armor of yours, creating hundreds of clones to fight instead of yourself." Kisame was trying to get him to fight close ranged so he could drain him of his chakra even more.

"There's to many of them" Yamato said as he and his teammates tried holding off all the clones. Temari's wind was blowing the clones back, but that's all it was doing because their armor was to strong. Sakura managed to get rid of some with her superior strength but they were closing in to fast. "Temari, get back to Yamato, we'll be stronger as a single unit. I'll hold off them for a second." Temari gave one last blast to hold some of them off as she began running over to Yamato, Shino and Lee. With a thunderous roar, Sakura swung her fist onto the ground. The moment of impact, there was a huge bursting sound as the ground started cracking and braking. It moved in a wave, getting larger and larger as it reached the clones. The unstable ground would definitely cause the clones to lose their balance and for some to get crushed under the large peices of the ground. While they delt with that Sakura quickly followed behind Temari, but when she noticed Kankuro needed help as well, she changed dirrection.

Kankuro noticed his weapons weren't working, and the clones knew it also. So they were closing in on his position. Bringing Crow out in front of him, Kankuro popped its mouth open as he said "lets hope this one works." Out from Crow's mouth a ball was shot right towards a group of clones. On impact the ball exploded releasing a large cloud of purple smoke covering them all. Even though they were clones, they would still be affected by the poison gas, hopefully. Kankuro noticed that Hinata wasn't doing anything, and when he looked over to her it looked like she was trapped in an invisible box. Kankuro rapidly swung Crow over to her dirrection and picked her up because the clones were very close to her. By then Sakura made her way to Kankuro. "There's something wrong with Hinata" Kankuro told Sakura as Crow dropped Hinata beside Sakura. "Hinata, whats happening?!" Sakura said while shaking her a bit. Meanwhile Kankuro did his best to try and fend off the clones.

Kakuzu grunted when he saw and felt that his tendrils had not made it into the flesh of the clones and now they were trying to mix their blood tendrils with his stitches. All of the clones around him were now entwined with his stitches leaving himself stuck in the middle of the ring of clones. With all of the strength Kakauzu could muster, he swiftly gave a powerful jolt inwards with his stitches. Slightly pulling all of them towards himself, hopefuly with his immense strength he would make all of the clones stumble and lose their footing. Once that happened, his next move would be easier to do. Whiping all of his tendrils up then downwards like a chain, knowing full well the clones were all tangled in his tendrils and thanks to them losing their footing they would all follow the same movement. Being lifted off of their feet and then whiped back into the ground the clones would create cracks and holes in the cement and rock of the mountain. If the force of them smashing into the cement and mountain of the platform did not make them explode into puffs of smoke, they would all be lying prone giving Kakuzu a clear view at Hidan. Quickly extending his arms at an angle in the air towards Hidan, once they were over him Kakuzu swung his extended arms downwards. Turning both of his hands brown, they would slice right infront of Hadan's torso splitting the blood tendrils in half. Before the clones would reform the blood around Hidan, Kakuzu already had a tight grip around his ankles and pulled him out. Sliding him across the platform untill they were several feet away from each other Kakuzu would let go of the imortal. "Make yourself useful." Kakuzu barked as the Hinode clones were extreme pains in the asses.

Meanwhile, Lee stopped his fast moving assaults on the clones cause like Kimimaro did they were using spikes that protruded from their bodies to stop all taijutsu attacks he attempted. Now rendered useless, Lee came to a sliding hault beside Shino who still carried the jinchuriki in clouds of bugs. Slowly rising to his strong fist stance, Lee said "Shino, hop onto one of your bug clouds of fly out of here. Ill try protecting you as best as I can." Listening to Lee's suggestion, the Aburame jumped onto a cloud of his own and floated away with the four Jinchuriki. It was a costly decision, but in Shino's condition he woldnt be able to fight much longer, it would have been difficult for him to fight while carryig four bodies and he was the only one who needed to make it out alive right now. If he stayed here he would get killed. Keeping his eyes opened, Lee watched to see if any of the Hinode clones tried attacking Shino as he flew towards the outer gates of the village.

Hinode rotated on his blood-nimbus when he heard Kisame's voice come from behind. "So you escaped..." he muttered to himself. "Your taunts have no effect on me, rodent." Hinode replied as he just floated there with is arms crossed. Further down below, a mass of blood formed near some black flames. They made contact, and the blood became wreathed in the jet-black flames. "Now that I know how your technique works, you don't stand a chance!" Hinode shouted at Kisame as he swung his arm up. The blood shot forward, taking the shape of something that looked more like an arrow now instead of a blob. Hinode was aiming to just touch Kisame with the burning blood arrow, that way he would also be set ablaze by the strange flames.

Kakuzu's slam move worked, the hard blunt trauma by-passing the armour and destroying the clones. Next he freed Hidan, who roared while he was being dragged, "Hahah! Finally made yourself useful, eh!?" As he got back up to his feet, Kakuzu told him to be useful, and more clones began closing in slowly. "These fuckers are just going to try binding me again if I stay motionless too long. Where the hell are your mask things?" Hidan asked his partner as he looked around. "Don't tell me they've all been detroyed... Man you're weak." he concluded, looking at the zombie with a cocky smirk.

Most of the Hinode's jumped away when they noticed Sakura's earthquake coming, but some tripped while others even fell into the fissures and were crushed. When Kankuro shot his ball, one of the clones reached out and caught it. The next second, it exploded, covering the small gang in a cloud of purple smoke. "Poison gas. Nice try." one of the Hinode's would say moments later, about the same time Kankuro had recovered Hinata. They all slowly walked out of the gas cloud, completely unfazed. "You see, this armour is quite handy. It can seperate your poison from the air molecules as they pass through the blood, creating an effective filter in most basic terms." one of them explained with his hands up. The moment he finished, another one said, "Now, it's about time all of you died!" The cluster of Hinode's got into dragonball stances as dozens of blood tendrils with pointy tips shot up from their bodies and into the air at an angle. They would then curve and come flying down at Sakura, Kankuro, and Hinata like a rain of crimson spears. The attack was too fast and wide for them to get out of the way if they tried carrying Hinata.

Right before Shino jumped, he and Lee would feel a hand touch their shoulder. If the 2 Konoha-nins looked, they would see the beat-up Itachi standing between them both. He was looking down at the ground, and even though his eyes were opened, it looked like he was asleep. "Release the Jinchuuriki." he said calmly.

It seemed like the guy was going to continue being a coward and fight from his cloud. Hinode taunted Kisame telling him that he didn't stand a chance now he knew how his abilities worked. There goes his first plan to absorb all his chakra, now he had to go with plan B. Hold of Hinode for as long as possible before Hidan finally killed him with his ritual. When Kisame saw Hinode swing his arm up his first instinct was to see if anything was coming out of the mountain under him. While he had swung his head down to check he spotted the arrow with bits of Amaterasu on it. Wit all his strength Kisame jumped higher into the air giving the arrow more distance to travel to reach him, and clapped his hands together. A mass amount of water was released from his mouth right down onto the arrow enough to stop it from moving and pushing it back to the platform. While the water was sparying out of his mouth Kisame clapped his hands together a second time. Before the water could reach the platform, it formed into three water shark missiles that shot right for Hinode on his blood cloud. Two in front and one further behind. Before the two in front reached him, they smashed into each other creating a massive water explotion intended to hit Hinode off his blood cloud. With Hinode in mid air or on his cloud did not matter, beause the third one was right there mouth wide open. Inside its mouth was the blood arrow covered in Amaterasu. Once the shark hit Hinode, it would exploded releasing the blood arrow onto Hinode along with Amaterasu in an attetp to burn him instead. Meanwhile Kisame was making his way from building to building approching Hinode.

"There's nothing we can do to these guys!" Kankuro said frustrated as thay explained why his poison gas didn't work. Kankuro and Sakura both watched as the tendrils shot out on an ange above them. They both knew what was going to happen, but there was not enough time for the to react. Out of no where Wood beams burst out beside them and began curving above them like a dome, and another layer on the inside for extra protection. The dendrills would probably peirce through the wood, but with the extra layer it would prevent it from reaching the team. "Get back to the others!" Yamato yelled out from behind them. He came back for them when he noticed they had not gotten back yet. Sakura picked up Hinata and Kankuro put Crow on his back as they began running to the others. The wood dome broke apart revealing Yamato to the mass amount of blood clones.

Yamato's wood clone slowly began creeping out of the ground behind the blood clones without makin a sound. Once he was out and on his feet, water began swirling around both of his hands into a small water torent. Meanwhile Yamato was forming a series of handseals. Once finished he slap a single hand onto the ground. The wood clone with a roar smashed both of the water torent spheres into two of the blood clones. The massive explotion caused from the two water rasengans would also hit some of the clones near by. Yamato's wood clone jumped away just as Yamato made his move. "Earth Style: Earth Style Rampart!" The ground under all the blood clone vibrated for a second and rapidly shot down into the ground bringing the clones down with it. Now with the earth acting as four wall on every side of them, Yamato used his chakra to increase the amount of earth, pushing all four of the wall into the clones, and creating earth above their heads as a fifth wall trapping them completely. In a matter of seconds, all the walls would come together completely crushing all the clones.

Grunting to his partners stupid respone, Kakuzu replied as he watched more Hinode's close in "Says the person I just saved." Retracting his tentacles back to himself but keeping them outside in his final form, Kakuzu would say "You can either help me cleve our way through all these vermin and hope Kisame finishes off the real copy, or you do so with your ritual." Kakuzu knew it would be hard for Hidan to perform the ritual with all of these clones. The only way was for them to try and escape the platform they were on and go somewhere where the Hinode clones would have to catch up to them thus not surrounding them. Then it hit him, shifting his eyes over to where Hidan was standing when Kakuzu saved him the immortal realized Hidan's ritual circle was still there. "Think you can make it back over to the circle? I'll provide cover.... do it now." Kakuzu demanded before the clones walked onto the circle, wanting to get this mission over with immediatly.

Rock Lee's eyes opene wider than they possibly could and Shino exclaimed "What?!?!?" when they both felt Itachi's hand on their shoulder and his abnormaly calm voice behind them. However Lee was no amateur and reacted before thinking. Swiftly using his unnatural speed and with the aid of the first gate, Rock Lee would spin his opposite shoulder backwards towards Itachi. Causing Itachi to lose hold of Lee's left shoulder, in one clean swift motion Lee would decend down to the ground and sweep Itachi's heels with his calf, using the momentem of his spin to perform the kick. Noticing as the Uchiha lost his grip on his shoulder, a mass of black bugs collided into Itachi's torso like a canon ball hitting him out of the air and into a crowd of aproaching Hinode Shadow clones. Standing up in his strong fist stance facing the crowd of Hinode's Itachi crashed into, Lee would roar "Now Shino!! Before it's to late!" Hopping onto a black nimbus Shino would fly away with the Jinchurikis.

Hinode watched with his arms crossed as Kisame jumped high into the sky and released a torrent of water from his mouth. (So those black flames really can't be extinguished then...) Hinode thought to himself as he watched the water push the blood arrow back down and noticed the flames were still on it. The large mass of falling water suddenly took the shape of 3 sharks that took flight and started heading for Hinode. The blood user started flying away from the 2 coming straight at him, but forgot about the 3rd behind. It struck him in the back, causing him to grunt with pain as he was blasted off the blood-nimbus. Falling through the air Hinode could feel an intense heat on his back, swiftly burning away his armor. (Damn him...) the blood-user realized as he brought his hands together to focus. Hinode increased the amount of blood where he felt the heat, so it would continue to burn the armor without reaching his actual body, and then detached that whole part from the rest of his suit. Once the flames were off him, he enclosed them in a sphere of blood, and shot it far away as he created a crimson rod for him to catch and hang on to. Hanging with 1 arm in mid-air on his small rod, Hinode searched for Kisame and spotted him jumping from roof to roof, drawing closer with every leap. "What a persistent wretch. I can't risk close combat because he will just absorb my armor, and if he managed to land a clean blow, armor or no armor, it would probably finish me..." Hinode muttered to himself, remembering Kisame's strength from their close encounter before. "There's only one possible way to beat him at the moment..." he said to himself as the rod grew into a surfboard and he climbed onto it. With great speed Hinode flew up, flying in at Kisame like a crimson bullet. "Prepare to die, abomination!" he roared at the top of his lungs as he created a giant sword in his hands (same as his old sword, but made entirely of blood now).

"I swear, if I end up trapped in those fucking tentacles again, you'll be the one dying here today, got it!?" Hidan roared back at Kakuzu when the zombie said he would cover him. Without warning, Hidan suddenly burst forward with a wide smile, moving back towards the ritual circle.

"Stop him!" one of the Hinode's roared, and dozens of tendrils shot in. Hidan came to a halt and spun his scythe like a fan, deflecting a few. He then continued moving, using acrobatic maneuvers to evade some while counting on Kakuzu to deal with the rest. When they realized what was going on, some clones began running in at Kakuzu from all angles. They created short swords and long claws to attempt to hack Kakuzu into pieces. By then, Hidan would have made it back into the circle with a chuckle.

"Jashin-sama!" Hidan cried at the top of his lungs as he brought up his free hand and grabbed the stitching at his neck. With 1 swift jerk, he was going to pull it all loose, resulting in 2 heads falling off.

Meanwhile, Yamato saved his 3 underlings from certain death and allowed them the time to escape, Hinata currently unconscious due to lack of oxygen. The blood clones that had been attacking them all looked at Yamato when the wood wall fell apart. They were caught completely off-guard when the 2 geysers of water erupted behind them. Turning to look at what was going on, they were caught off-guard yet again when the ground beneath them dropped like an elevator. They tried to escape, but would all inevitably be crushed, reducing their numbers by a lot.

"Impressive, but that must have taken quite a bit out of you..." Hinode's voice would come from behind Yamato. The shadow clone grew 1 of Bee's swords out of his hand and swung it at Yamato in attempt to decapitate him. At the same time, 2 more of the shadow clones would be flying down towards Yamato's wood clone, each of them with a Rasengan in their hand.

Itachi's eyes suddenly opened wide when he took sight of Lee's shadow movements. Jumping up before the sweep had arrive, the Uchiha also noticed the cannon ball of insects forming up ahead. While still holding Shino's shoulder, Itachi used Rock Lee's head as a foothold to allow him to do a cartwheel over the Aburame's head, dodging the incoming bug-ball. When Itachi completed the cartwheel, he let go of Shino as he kicked the Aburame into the destabilized Rock Lee, using a swift side kick to the ribs. The 2 would roll away, and as they did, Itachi used his shadow vision to help him predict where they would be when he threw his 8 kunai at them. The projectiles stabbed through their clothes and into the rock, pinning them where they were. Knowing he didn't have much time left, Itachi quickly passed his thumb over a wound to get some blood on it, formed some handseals too fast for anyone to see, and then touched the ground. A murder of crows burst into existence and immediately flew towards the jinchuuriki. The screeching birds would begin having a feast upon the bountiful amount of insects. Itachi got back up as he noticed more of those shadow clones were approaching rapidly. (Kisame...) he thought to himself, hoping his partner would deal with this unending threat.

The blood user managed to save himself from Amaterasu by simply taking off the armor and replacing it with more. The he went form hainging in mid air with a blood rod and then changed it to a board and fly on once again. "There just isn't anything this guy can't create" Kisame muttered right as he created his massive sword from before out of blood. Kisame got this sudden urge to pull Samehada out of him and fight Hinode with Samehada against his own massive weapon to make the fight even more interesting. But he had to end this as quick as possible so he could go help Itachi regain possesion of the jinchurikis. When Kisame saw Hinode flying in with his surf board and sword, he knew this was his chance to get to him and finish the fight. "That's it" Kisame whispered as the spikes came out of his forearms once more. Taking one great leap, Kisame jumped full speed towards the incoming Hinode. Hinode would most likely swing his sword and Kisame's intention was to block it with his spikes even though the sword would probably cut through them. But his main objective was to get in close and onto the surfboard. Once in contact with either the board, Hinode, or both, Kisame would begin absorbing the chakra from Hinode and the board. Also, he would fend himself as best as possible from the massive sword, healing the spikes on his forearms if they got cut off.

Yamato was breathing extremely heavy after that move. Even though he had alarge amount of chakra in his chakra reserve, using that much as once would tire out anyone. Sweat dribbing down his face, he was completely caught off guard. Turning around as quick as possible Yamato caught sight of one of the clones behind him creating another one of its weapons. Yamato ducked just in time nerly having the entire top of his head sliced off. As quick as possible he jumped a few feet away to get some time to catch his breath. At that moment he heard as explotion from behind him as bits and peices of wood flew by him. Turning his head slightly Yamato saw the two clones standing where his former wood clone stood. "You have to be kidding me..." Yamato said with a slight sigh in his voice. What he was doing was holding the clones back so his teammates could get away. "Alright, show me what you guys can do" Yamato said as he started backing up from the one in front of him creating an equal amount of distance from the one in front of him and the two behind him, hands ready to make a seal.

The kunais Itachi threw were blasted out of the air by a gust of wind that came swooping in from nowhere. "Don't even think about it!" Temari yelled as Sakura was bent down beside Hinata trying to figure out what was wrong with her because she had stopped breathing. Kankuro standing beside Temari just attached his strings to Crow and was keeping an eye out for the clones. When the crows were summoned, Temari rapidly began shooting wind blades at the crows, but once they got to the bug covered jinchuriki's, all she could do was blow the crows away with regular blasts because she didn't want to cut up shino's bugs or the jinchuriki. Meanwhile Sakura was dealing with Hinata, and there was nothing wrong. No poison, nothing stuck in her throat, she just stopped breathing. She looked over to Itachi, and then back to Hinata. "A genjutsu!" Sakura yelled out as an assumption. Putting both her hands onto Hinata, Sakura began putting her own chakra into Hinata trying to see if she could cancel the genjutsu, if there was one.

Turning to face Hidan as he ran towards his ritual circle, with his impressive scythe skills and acrobatic maneuvers Hidan was able to fend off or dodge most of the incoming blood tendrils. Those that he was unable to protect himself against were met by Kakuzu's black stitches. Tangling together, Kakuzu easily gave Hidan enough time to make it to his ritual circle. Shifting his eyes to each side of their sockets, Kakuzu realized that the other clones were converging on him with blood weapons drawn. Sending out a flood a stitches out in every direction, most of them would likely be cut by their weapons but there were too many to all be cut down. The stitches would wrap around their limbs making movement nearly impossible. Kakuzu had given his partner enough time and it was now all in his hands.

Lee came to a sliding halt with Shino in his arms as Temari blew the kunais away. Putting Shino onto his feet as Itachi summoned a flock of birds that started attacking his bugs, Lee suddenly vanished from beside the Aburame with a puff of dust. Appearing behind the Uchiha, Lee was already performing his summersault. Performing the same kick he did to Gaara in the Chuunin exams, the heel of Lee's right foot would come crashing down onto the back of Itachi's skulls smashing him into the ground, cracking the back of his skill and braking his nose as his face made contact with the earth. Watching as his bugs were being devoured by the crows, Shino muttered as he raised his arms "You will regret this." Sending forth a zigzag stream of bugs from both his sleeves, that started swarming around the crows turning them into black meat balls or getting under their feathers draining the chakra out of them. Soon enough each and every bird would explode into a puff of smoke do to the bugs draining the chakra out of them.

"Heh..." Hinode chuckled as he swung his sword into Kisame's spikes. As the blades clashed and Kisame immediately began draining the chakra out of the blood-weapon and surfboard, Hinode thought to himself, (The fish took the bait...!) Both of them would begin falling down through the air, down towards the water below. Hinode let Kisame hold onto him and drain the chakra out of his armor as he focused on something else. A sphere of blood came flying in from Kisame's blind spot and smashed right into his back with a splash. The bursting bubble of blood would reveal the black flames trapped within, and if it connected, Kisame would be set ablaze with the flames of Amaterasu. If his plan worked, Hinode would 'shed' his armor to slip out of Kisame's grasp, and then fly away on blood-skates.

Kakuzu managed to hold off a large majority of clones, allowing Hidan to make it into his circle and pull the thread at his neck. A look of confusion came over Hidan's face when his head didn't roll off his shoulders. He shook it around a bit, and then used his free hand to grab his hair and try pulling it off. "What did you do Kakuzu, why is it stuck on so tight!?" Hidan roared, and then noticed a shadow clone further up with his hand up, palm aimed at the Jashinist.

"Nice try, but that won't work." the clone said, "I sent out molecules of my blood and infused them into your neck, there's no way you can pull it off now..." Using his free hand, the clone brought 2 fingers up in front of his face. "Now then... Blood Drizzle." the Hinode clone said. At that moment, droplets of blood began falling from the giant sphere hanging in the air over them all (the one the lightning mask is trapped in). The small lumps of blood would start splashing onto Kakuzu and Hidan's body, sticking to them and slowly spreading out over their skin. "You two have formidable abilities, but you're out of your league..." the clone taunted as the crimson rain continued to fall.

"Kakuzu!" Hidan roared as he tried to shield himself from the rain, but it was futile.

"With pleasure." one of the clones replied to Yamato. He clapped his hands together and said, "Blood Bullet." Without warning, he shot out 6 high-speed, compact, small spheres of blood from his forehead, one after the other, and at Yamato. Regardless of whether the Jounin blocked or dodged, the other 2 clones would try finding a blind angle to come running in to try and impale Yamato with long blood-claws.

Itachi's eyes shifted to look at Temari as she blew away his projectiles, and then started blasting his birds. Some of the insects would be scattered as a consequence, and combined with the birds feasting on them, there was no way there were enough bugs to hold in suspension 4 bodies. The jinchuriki's would inevitably fall to the ground as all of Itachi's crows were destroyed by Temari and Shino's combined assault. The Uchiha followed Lee's movements to see the boy come up behind him. Itachi rolled away just in time to avoid being hit, and got back up an equal distance from his 4 opponents. "At this rate, we will all be killed here." Itachi suddenly said, hopefully before Temari would try blasting him away or something. "Our only chance is if we rally forces, however temporary it may be." the Uchiha continued, and then turned to look at Shino, in the eyes. "Separately, neither of our cells can defeat the blood-user. After we kill him, you may do as you wish." Itachi concluded, and by the time his little speech was over, Shino would feel that it made A LOT of sense, more so than any of the others who might also agree. In fact, Shino would feel inclined to speak out about his feelings and try influencing the decision of his teammates. "Decide now, we don't have much time." Itachi added, noticing a swarm of jello men approaching their location.

Hinata awoke with a gasp as Sakura figured out that it was an illusion that knocked her out. The Hyuga's white eyes opened just in time to see the blood tendril flying down towards Sakura's blind spot. With a grunt, Hinata pushed Sakura out of the way, and was impaled herself, right through a lung. Coughing up blood, Hinata placed her hands on the tendril as it lifted her up off the ground. "A Hyuga... I can use your DNA." the clone said as he observed the bleeding girl. Sakura would probably try doing something, and the clone would probably try countering, but before either of them succeeded, the clone suddenly burst into a puff of smoke and Hinata fell back to the ground. Hinata had passed her chakra through the blood tendril and into the clone's body, attacking his vitals. If Sakura would come over to the fallen girl, Hinata would gurgle, "We... must stop the original... take... take me to him..." The girl was planning on using the same move she just did to finish the real Hinode, even if it meant her dying.

Kisame successfully made it onto Hinode's with relative ease. Once Kisame was there he instantly began draining the chakra and Hinode knew he would, so why wasn't Hinode trying to get rid of him? The more chakra Kisame absorbed, the stronger he was getting. And he was taking it by the tons. But then he sensed something, Hinode's chakra flying in fast aimed for his back. Kisame grinned while saying "if you just let me take all you're chakra, you're..." but cut himself off. Seconds before the source of chakra collided into his back Kisame side stepped off the board letting the thing smash into Hinode. Hopefully, Kisame's unexpected dodge would give the blood ball enough time to hit Hinode, but after all he was the one controlling it. Whether the ball hit Hinode or not, Kisame grabbed onto Hinode's surf board with his left hand. Swinging his right hand over Kisame grabbed a hold of Hinode's ankle. With amazing strength Kisame ripped Hinode off of his board throwing him down to the water below. Letting go of the board after absorbing more chakra, Kisame splashed into the water about 20 meters from Hinode. "Lets end this" Kisame said with a grin showing the spikes coming out from the fins on his forearms once more as he burst full speed towards Hinode going to impale him and make sure he only has enough chakra to speak.

Yamato quickly looked over to the one who react first by performing a jutsu. Pushing himself as far as he could to the side almost like he was hovering above the ground, Yamato dodged the speed blood bullets while clapping his hands together at the same time. Yamato knew the other two clones would come in for an attack the moment he react, so he had to be one step ahead of them. The moment he touched the ground, he started to become one with it as he sunk into the ground, disappearing. After a few seconds of nothing multiple wood columns burst out of the ground wrapping around the clone that shot the bullets. Hopefully catching the other two clones attention, Yamato's upper body came out of the ground behind the two clones that were together, arms out with two wooden spikes coming out of each palm. The spikes extended outwards aimed right for the back of both their heads. Yamato put all his force into the extension hoping it was enough to pierce through the blood armor and stab right into their heads. If it worked, Yamato's body would come out of the ground and both wooden spikes would brake free from his palm. Grabbing hold of both of them likes spears, Yamato threw both of them towards the other clone trying to impale him as well.

Before Temari attacked Itachi, he began to speak to them. Temari kept her fan up in case she needed to strike at any moment and he was trying to trick them. Temari and Kankuro listened in to Itachi while Sakura was dealing with Hinata. Itachi spoke the truth. They were unlikely to make it out alive if things kept going as they were now, they just refused to believe so. "Are you nuts!" Temari yelled out to Itachi, "you're the Akatsuki, none of you can be trusted! You're just going to turn on us and kill us, never!" Kankuro quickly joined in, but was very confused on what to do. Whispering to Temari, Kankuro told her "this may be our only option of survival. There's another army of those guys on their way and I don't think we can hold them off, especially dealing with him." Temari looked at Kankuro with rage in her face because she did not want to have anything to do with the Akatsuki, but she knew there was no other option. After Shino said whatever he had to say, and Lee as well, Kankuro spoke. "We'll join forces, only temporarily. But, under one condition. You give us your word that you and your allies leave us and the jinchuuriki be after this is over. Otherwise we all die here, including you and your allies" Kankuro finished, with a stern look on his face. "I can't believe your about to trust someone who killed their entire clan" Temari whispered to Kankuro. But Kankuro was in charge now that Yamato was else where, and they had just about ran out of any other option that was left.

Sakura was relieved to see Hinata wake from her genjutsu. Now she could get back to the others who were probably in dire need of help. But before Sakura could react she was pushed out of the way by Hinata as a blood tendril pierced right through her. "Over my dead body you will" Sakura roared to the clone about his comment on the DNA. Before she could do anything, the clone exploded into a puff of smoke and Sakura looked over to her with a confused look on her face. Sakura quickly got down beside the fallen Hyuga and Hinata told Sakura what she wanted to do. Obviously she wanted to do what she just did to the clone. "Are you out of your mind?!" Sakura said, shocked at Hinata. Sakura examined her wound and knew that it was probably a vital one. "You can't go anywhere like this, you wouldn't even make it alive. I have to heal you and fast." But Sakura knew time was running out and they needed to killed Hinode quick. Picking up Hinata like they do when someone can't walk properly, Sakura would help Hinata walk since she was obviously in a lot of pain. Sakura made sure they were out of sight from the clones fast approaching their teammates, and at the same time she had a hand on Hinata's wound healing it. She wasn't healing it as fast a normal because she also had to concentrate on where they were going and helping Hinata, but she was getting the job done.
